Artist Statement
My work is a search for the invisible through form. Each sculpture and ceramic piece begins with an idea that transcends matter, seeking to express the spiritual, symbolic, and emotional dimensions of human existence.
I work with bronze, aluminum, and ceramics—materials that offer distinct expressive possibilities while sharing the same capacity for transformation. Through them, I explore themes such as creation, family, faith, renewal, and the relationship between humanity, nature, and the universe. The dialogue between form and empty space is essential to my visual language; absence never represents emptiness, but rather an active presence that invites contemplation and allows each viewer to complete the work through their own experience.
Nature, the cosmos, and the sacred are enduring sources of inspiration. Organic forms, circular movement, and the interplay of light across surfaces create a visual language that speaks of continuity, balance, and transformation. In both my monumental sculptures and my ceramic works, I seek to reveal through matter what cannot be seen: energy, memory, and spirit.
When my sculptures become integrated into the landscape or enter into dialogue with water, the environment itself becomes part of the artwork. Light, reflection, and the passage of time expand its meaning and evoke a sense of the infinite.
I believe that art is a bridge between the visible and the invisible. My intention is not to provide answers, but to open a space for contemplation where each person may discover their own meaning. If my works awaken wonder, emotion, or a profound connection with that which transcends us, then they have fulfilled their purpose.
